Tagging onto April's Affordable "IT" item

As you may be aware, April's Affordable "IT" Item was garden furniture.  As Summer draws near, we're still on the lookout for interesting and useful items for outdoor entertaining.  We spotted some really incredible items for your patio or garden during Philly Antiques Week and I just had to share. Not only are they beautiful, but practical, too!

How incredibly cool is this pair of old wire lanterns from David N. Salkin, Philadelphia (above)?  I love the idea of these hanging at different lengths over my outdoor dining table.  Great inside as decor, too.

Good thing I took a plane to Philly or else this petite pair of garden seats would have come home in the car with me.  This is the cool teal-green-aqua that's so hot right now.  Super little pair and so chic in any setting-- indoors or out.  Also courtesy of David Salkin.

At the Pier show, Kelly Kinzle (New Oxford, PA) offered this superb pair of cast stone lions.  They are 100% class-- so elegant and timeless.   As far as practicality of this pair, c'mon, everyone needs a pair of stone lions guarding the garden gates!
