Essex Antiquarians first opened in 1996, has grown to over 6500 sq. feet of retail space. Owner Rick Bevilacqua satisfies his love for the quality, style and craftsmanship 'of the period' with a constantly changing mix of mahogany, satinwood and walnut, elaborately painted surfaces, intricate carvings, bronze and marble works of art, and the rare and unusual.
In addition to the Massachusetts location, Essex Antiquarians exhibits at high-end antiques shows in Baltimore, Nashville, Chicago, Alexandria, New York, Morristown and Atlanta, among other locales.
Essex Antiquarians provides restoration, as well as design and appraisal services, and is always looking to privately purchase fine antiques.
