It is probable that this charming little table originally graced the home of someone who enjoyed an occasional game of cards, but preferred the elegant design and proportions over ultimate functionality. While a fine beading traverses the upper lip of the top, the delicate legs look as though poured from a paint can as they terminate in a "puddle" of handsomely articulated claw and ball feet. In a nod to the need for function to coexist with form, the card drawer also serves as support for the open fold.

Circa 1880, its measurements are: Height: 30", Width: 30", Depth: 15"

Price: $ 3,750
