What we see here is a handsome, Scottish oak dresser with spice cabinets. Drawers and cabinets are cross banded in mahogany with a thin stringing of ebony & boxwood. The scalloped decoration to crown, side shelves and apron are indicative of a Scottish hand; however, the nautilus inlays on the cupboard doors are the final piece to the puzzle of this dresser's origin.
