This oak server from an English country estate has mahogany cross banding on its top and drawer fronts as well as around the raised panels on its sides. A relatively tall piece for its genre, it has a scalloped apron and deeply curved cabriole legs that keep the proportions in check.

Circa 1840, its measurements are: Height: 35.5", Width: 74", Depth: 19".
