Elegant early 19th century German silver compote, bulbous bowl with repousse floral band and vermeil interior, flanked by pair of acanthus scroll handles, all raised on a pedestal base formed by four dolphins, and a centered ball finial on a rectangular base with gadrooning and acanthus leaf border standing on four ball feet.

With Hamburg concession mark and unknown makers mark CA in a cartouche.
