This is an exquisite example of a late 17th century/early 18th century cabinet in oyster cut Laburnum and Walnut. Containing eleven drawers of varying size with a central cupboard, itself housing a mirror that flips up to reveal a hidden compartment with nine more small drawers in three sizes. Though the stand is later, it appears to have been constructed exactly as an original stand would have been for a cabinet of this magnitude. The wood grains used on the cabinet are of the finest we've seen and, though there is no signature, the overall construction indicates that this was made in one of England's finest cabinet workshops. Circa 1700.

Its measurements are: Height: 64.5", Width: 45", Depth: 19"

Price: $ 29,500
